Unappreciated Love
I sorrow, I sorrow deeply.
He used to walk along side me.
I recall his smile, I called him baby brother.
He was stolen, smothered.
Conflict snatched life from him.
Their pain was not for him,
woman he chose destroyed him.
why didn't he turn away, look the other way?
I am heart broken. What does it matter?
His thoughts were not of me.
Not that I was unappreciated,
he chose the who preoccupied his mind.
