Living my dreams!

Image
Hey Beautiful, how was your Day? Your smile took my breath away. And those lips of yours. I can stare at them for hours. I thought I was trapped in a dream. You appeared to be supreme. All I had became ours. And our love opened many doors. I’m living my reality. Some think it is all a fantasy. But my lady’s here besides me. And life is as it should always be. You fell for my boyish charms. 'N rested peacefully in my arms. And I knew I was captured. I found my happily ever after. "Abuse" not about Hillary Clinton or Politics

August 25 at 10:20pm · Undone in the poet voice http://youtu.be/5T4rySKcXZQ Adapted from "The Cry of our Children" purchase yours here from amazon.com Undone I know the effects of abuse, I’ve lived through it. I adopted a family of four girls. They were ages one to four when they were placed in my home.   My children were sexually abused in foster care, even at their very young age.  The fact that they got accepted in tier one universities while struggling with learning difficulties was not enough to empower them. Sadly, they still struggle with self esteem issues. For all the reasons mentioned, I’ve dedicated my writings to empower victims and perhaps, to heal myself in some way. Still wanting to hold onto the goodness of others, I lost sight of how cruel people can be. Not in a million years did it ever occur to me that "Bullshit" would be a response to any of my poems. Yet, that was the exact r...

Undone/ Stand up to Abuse

Image
Stand up to Abuse   Recognize the face of abuse, It's a worldwide phenomenon. It’s your neighbor, coworker, sister, daughter, Mother, friend.   It’s not only physical; it's verbal, sexual and mental. Anyone who’s being used as a source of income, imprisoned, and mistreated by someone.   Don't hide your face or remain a phantom. Stand up to abuse, and let it be known.   If it would bring harm to you,   recognize it, but expose the harm That’s been inflicted on you..   Doesn't matter who it is, was, did, does or wants to become. Your life is worth saving.   Stand up to Abuse. You are not alone.   Difficulty shapes us but should not defeat us. This is the message of "The cry of our children." Love's the foundation of Peace

Image
All panic over that or this, And do whatever it takes to achieve, But push aside what should be cherished. It’s not fancy cars or designers jeans, But relationships with others. By loving more we discriminate less. For love is the foundation of peace. If all had love, what more would they need? "The Cry of our children" poetry about life and various situations.
