Consistent!
The water shimmered.
As if, laughing in the sunlight.
She responded by tossing in a stone.
Watched as it jumped, as though, on its own.
Alone she sat, far away from where she started.
The landscape had changed, yet the sun rose
And set every time from the same direction.
As the stone sank, she picked up another,
Then another, one after the other as she tossed them,
They sank. Such was life, now she understood.
Some things changes while others stay the same.
