Mama did something right

Mama did something right. She taught me to be polite. Even with all I've battled in life, I never strayed from her advice. I needed her love more than dad’s. Not the many concerns she had, Still, I loved the woman, I've become. I was the daughter who was unlike her sons. Mama did something right. She taught me to be polite. Even with all I've battled in life, I never strayed from her advice. As an adult when I was away from home. I would speak to her daily on the phone. Not that I was looking for her approval. I did so at times when I needed to refuel. Her children were very unkind to me. Though their behavior no one could see. It caused me unnecessary grief. But she knew that they were being untrue. Mama did something right. She taught me to be polite. Even with all I've battled in life, I never strayed from her advice. puchase by book of poems by clicking this link

Thanksgiving Prayer

Thank you for healing. Thank you for pain. Thank you for capital gains. Thank you for those who never trample others people feelings. Thank you for your sacrificial gifts. Thank you for daily help that’s beneficial. Thank you for the food that maintains my body, But not for my life long craving for improvement. Thank your for Joan although she is gone, for her spirit that still lives on. Her daughter Melissa as she continues. That she may not struggles with any issues. I pray all these things for myself also. That those who cause trouble would be out numbered. That they may not be recognized but seen as untrue, that they would never be remembered by you. purchase by book of poems by selecting this link
