Season Greeting

Image
It's the day after Christmas, Not a sound can be heard. All who visited put a smile on my face. Enjoyed their presence was grateful they came. Felt appreciated and loved by them. The same was happening world wide. People appreciating others, they stand besides, took the time to make that clear. One day set aside out of an entire year, Would come again in another 365 days. Wish I could awaken a smile as she, aim to keep her pace. Trot along like a child, tugging at mother's waist, focusing on her. Her words encourages, ring true. Desire Keeps me strong.

Image
The longing of my soul, my burning desire pushes me to accomplish. Every day I awake they're real. Without realization they persists, embedded in my mind, I don't ask if God forgot, or wonder why others has done what I have not? I stay focus and work daily towards it. The sun and moon rise and set from the same direction for years. Why should I waiver? My desire keeps me strong. So when I fail, I keep improving, work diligently at all I wish to accomplish. select this link to buy my book of poems

Tribute to America and Paris

Image
It's a great time to be alive, Though many live in fear.   From the ashes we'll rise. lather in the good that's here.   We'll build up, stand up, Keep up and defy terror,   Until all realize violence is A foolish way to be recognized.   Paris will continue to be, A place lovers wish to be, dream   and walk together in love until they reach great heights like the Eiffel tower,   Dine there on fine delicacies served with wine and baguette.   America also will flourish, Remain free and strong Because God is its foundation.   This land of peace is no one's enemy. And is as its citizens believes, A place where any can live, love and flourish. Select this link and buy my ebook the cry of our children

Better on my own

The door to love is closed And it won't be opened to him again. The door to love is closed, to one person. Time after time I keep telling myself. I'm better off on my own, not pining for him.   It's difficult to love someone. Who is never there when I need him. One who shows up to enjoy my achievement. For my light to be reflected on him. I don’t want that kind of love or friend.   I question such actions again and again. Choke back tears for I know the answer. I don't want to be within reach of this person. Console myself by saying; I'm better off without him.   His reason for avoiding me no longer matters. I see his ways as unloving. Though I've wondered many times, I’m letting go. And I'm through with wanting to know.   The Cry of our Children can be down loaded for free with Kindle Unlimited select this link to buy my book of poems

Be aware

Hatred as drizzle, Chisels at human souls.   Contrives a crevice to separate them, Deceives and ensnares its surroundings.   Fear and heartache are its weapons, Vindictiveness the float it parades on.   Discouragement its cathartic instruction, Defeating the strongest of men.   Wears masks of love, protection, guardian, not an enemy but a friend.   Many are its victims: Those with opinions, The faithful, most vulnerable,   It demolishes and wounds people. Nations crumble to devastation.   Hatred’s robust, yet uplifts no one.   Constantly without regret, awards wrong, Inflicts, curses its very subjects,   Most destructive weapon to exist. Be aware though iron sharpens iron. Love wins over hate, Hate leads to despair But love's the foundation of peace. select this linke to purchase my ebook

Love me don't beat me

Don’t hit me , treat me like a lady. Listen to what I’m saying. Hitting games I’m not playing. I don’t deserve to be kissed with a fist. ‘N I’m leaving if you insist. Or thinks you’re my father.   You haven’t been good to me lately. ‘N haven’t looked at me affectionately. Or have you touched me romantically. And tender touching works for me. Hitting is insane and plain cruelty. Who would even believe my story? That I wasn’t looking for shame or glory. But a love that’s satisfactory. But I struggled with you daily. So I told them what they refuse to see. My smile and laughter covered the truth. But the mean things you said and did wasn’t cute. You made life difficult from our youth. I’m done covering up for you. 'Cause you don't know how to love a lady.   link to my ebook on amazon.com

Blessings

Image
The returns on giving is greater Than on receiving, Doesn't matter who are assisting. In so doing many entertained angels without realizing. The benefit isn't always clear or immediate but do for others for the joy or it, Not for the returns but out of love. Be blessed by the reward of your own generosity.   “Life’s most persistent and urgent question is, Do you do for those who can't repay you? To ensure your own success, simply do 1,000 times more for others than they do for you.” — Martin Luther King Jr.

Spam box

Image
I cried for you today. Sitting alone on a park bench in London while you're in the States. Emailed you every day, Not once have you responded. It's hard loving but not being a recipient. My emails went to your spam box. You didn't read or retrieve it. There's no excuse or fix for that. If I call you'll probably hang up. I understand my fixation, But not your behavior. Still I miss you, but my pride's greater And does not allow me to call either. read more of my poetry for free by selecting the read for free link on amazon.com

Hello Sunshine

Image
Hello sunshine, Your warmth is appreciated Especially on cold days. Your light sparkle on waves, Brighten the entire world. But deliver moderate rays, hold back, though we wish to soak you in, but too much of you damages skin, causes us to appear aged. But all things in moderation, whether good or bad is a lot better.

The Joy of Christmas

Image
All good things given us come from heaven. Though things on earth aren't always even. But Christmas gives us a reason. To share with others, the joy of the season.   Joy doesn't have to be wrapped in a box. Or does it have to be a visit from St Nicholas. But a kind act, like the one on that first Christmas. Give someone the joy of Christmas.   We decorate and light holiday trees. We celebrate with our families. But pray that others would find peace. And for the world’s conflicts at this time to cease.   Show them more than just the Christmas story. A child born without wealth or glory. But true love as displayed by you. Give someone a reason to celebrate too. Give the gift of peace and love, gifts we can't do without. The Joys of Christmas was recently added to "The Cry of our Children' It is only available in ebook form on Amazon.com/dp/BOOTYNYC26Y The book is being sold for $2.99 but can be read for free

Secret love

Image
Loyalty where there’s hurt                              is that sincerely honest, should any cling when love’s shattered?   Continue as if all’s ok,                             Keep up a ppearances while hiding truth?   Are there advantages to being faithful to one who isn’t, Or keep love a closely guarded secret?    If love were an undiscovered garden, any could explore it.   A secret ingredient in a recipe, It could be made, tasted and savored.   If none other than our hearts knew, goes wild in its presence,   in anticipation of the world knowing, without love professing the same,   it would be a fantasy, unknown, not photographed, fulfilled, but exists only in minds.   So many stick with the tangible.             Poem taken from "The Cry of our Children" borrow a copy from amazon kindle by selecting this link

Reasons to Pray for Jerusalem

Pray for Jerusalem! The woman not the land. Pray for Jerusalem even if you don't understand. Pray for Jerusalem as if she was sent from heaven. Pray for Jerusalem That no harm would come to her. Pray for Jerusalem And those around who loves her. Pray for Jerusalem's protection. Pray for all these things Cause that's what scripture commands.

Believe in Yourself

Be accepting but rise above negative thinking and shine like the star you were born to be. Know you have the power to bring about  your own success more than others do. The mind is the most powerful tool, it molds views. Use it! Allow people who believe in your ability to influence.  Use your power to enable yourself and others, and great things will happen. Rise above, be a wholesome and honest person and good will follow. Believe also in  children. They are our future, key to making our world a splendid place and you have the ability to impact the way they view themselves and others. Happy Thanksgiving.

Image
Be thankful for every day that you are. Life is not to find yourself, but know who you are. If you never become a star on earth in God's eyes you are. Love those who loves you, even if you disagrees, They'll have your back even if it doesn't seems like it. Give a smile if nothing else to a homeless person. They may not have had one in ages. Be someone's hero, they'll be thankful that you were. Whatever good you do in life, if it's not returned to you It will beautify your person. Happy thanksgiving And may God Bless all who read. Stay sweet if you are, Driven if you want to get somewhere. Secure to remain confident. But whoever you are thanks a million for reading.

Live, Love and Learn

It's not how we get money, the love of it, That's the root of evil and turns off the spirit. Though none is perfect, stealing God doesn't condone. But said, any without sin throw the first stone.   What we chose to do reflects who we are. 'N our thinking's often the biggest offender. 'N it's really our guilt that gives us away. Not what others convince of or say. Live, love and learn to be thankful. Let there not be a day, you're not grateful. If not you'll take on more trouble than you got. And I don't know who would want to do that. Taken from "The Cry of our Children" get your copy here

Quote of the Day

I pray when I'm overwhelmed by fears. But prays keeps me connected with God. I hope least I give up. Trust when there's no other option. Love because it heals and uplift others. Forgives so I can be pardoned. Share because it is better than getting. Positive thinking enables good things to happen, and that's precisely what faith is. Live and learn your moments are to be treasured.

The Heart

Image
The heart loves even when lips quiet. Smiles, rejoice, sends blood through veins, rhythmically remains consistent when eyes fail, recognizes love, the heart's aware if we fear, are emotional, cold, ticks like a grandfather clock, leaps for joy, is sensitive to stress. In our final days may fail but for now it's faithful, flattered when loved, functions as the organ of love, Vital to existence.

Great Tips for every Type and Destination

Success is not the size of your wallet but level of contentment. We see with our brain and our minds see as we believe. Facts should determine justice but truth can be unbelievable. Drive matters, it takes you places. short cut robs you of authenticity. Transformation is of greater relevance than past actions. A conversation is exchange of thoughts between two but if one person does all the talking and one listens that's a lecture. Marriage is a joy, divorce devastates lives. Whatever your station is be happy with it. Personal fulfillment is not determined by actions of others but your own. Life is not about making money but the good and benefits that comes from living and having money. For great Tips and poetry Purchase the ebook "The Cry of our Children" by selection this link

Tweet from God

If you got a tweet from God what would you want it to say? Come as you are; don't let anything stand in your way? It doesn’t matter what you wear or what's your address, He's proud of you and loves you regardless? If I got a tweet from God, I'd ask for forgiveness. I'd want God to accept me as I am. I wouldn't want to be turn away for being honest. I'd want to know that He's proud of how I lived. For him to see I'm no longer held captive. I'd want him to not be ashamed of me. But happy that I'm free and helped others to be. I’d want him to understand I'm no longer chaotic. If I got a tweet from God, I'd be ecstatic. I would tell the world all about it. We are all beautifully created and blessed. 'N I thank him for taking time to tweet to me. for more inspirational poetry buy my book by selecting this link

I'm Still Trapped

I'm still trapped. It's like shit follows me. I don't mean to be nasty. But I'm sincere 'n classy. I'm just trying to explain. My life's riddled with pain. But I'm trying to break free. My Helps comes from Heaven

My help comes heaven. From the Father but not the son. I give thanks to the God up above. For it's evident that I'm loved. If not for him, I don't be. He comforts and steady me. When I drop to my knee to pray He listens to what I have to say. My help comes from heaven. He comforts and steady me. And that I seriously believes. No matter who judges me. He's my anchor and foundation, And it is He, who carries my load. when I had no one and was unsure My rock and shield kept me secure.   for more of my poetry buy my book "the cry of our chidren"

"Abuse" not about Hillary Clinton or Politics

Image
August 25 at 10:20pm · Undone in the poet voice http://youtu.be/5T4rySKcXZQ Adapted from "The Cry of our Children" purchase yours here from amazon.com Undone I know the effects of abuse, I’ve lived through it. I adopted a family of four girls. They were ages one to four when they were placed in my home.   My children were sexually abused in foster care, even at their very young age.  The fact that they got accepted in tier one universities while struggling with learning difficulties was not enough to empower them. Sadly, they still struggle with self esteem issues. For all the reasons mentioned, I’ve dedicated my writings to empower victims and perhaps, to heal myself in some way. Still wanting to hold onto the goodness of others, I lost sight of how cruel people can be. Not in a million years did it ever occur to me that "Bullshit" would be a response to any of my poems. Yet, that was the exact r

Undone/ Stand up to Abuse

Stand up to Abuse   Recognize the face of abuse, It's a worldwide phenomenon. It’s your neighbor, coworker, sister, daughter, Mother, friend.   It’s not only physical; it's verbal, sexual and mental. Anyone who’s being used as a source of income, imprisoned, and mistreated by someone.   Don't hide your face or remain a phantom. Stand up to abuse, and let it be known.   If it would bring harm to you,   recognize it, but expose the harm That’s been inflicted on you..   Doesn't matter who it is, was, did, does or wants to become. Your life is worth saving.   Stand up to Abuse. You are not alone.   Difficulty shapes us but should not defeat us. This is the message of "The cry of our children." Man of my Dreams

Image
I didn’t want a man I could tame. But one who’d support my aim. The one I loved doesn't show care. Believed my job was to support his career.   He'd play the cat and mouse game. But claims he loved me the same. Yet I spent stressful days alone. Because he'd always disappear.   I was a lovely woman to look at. At first he told other men that. Things changed after we had children. He broke my heart by the way he behaved.   He was not charming like he was before. And my prince became a Lion that roared. We’re not adventurous as we were. Still I craved romance, and the man I adored. buy my ebook of poems by selecting this link
