Search for Beloved!
My darling, where are you?
I searched high and low.
I long to see, none other than you.
I walked the streets of the City.
Looking at the backs of strangers
Hoping that when they face me,
My beloved, I would happily greet.
The cry of my heart, the troubled City.
Oh what a pity, it is so unfulfilling.
Not one is as fascinating as he.
The anticipated joy that he will bring.
To his melody many will happily sing.
As my heart once leaped at the sight of him,
So will many gladly dance.
