Victory Song

The insolent one came after me.
I ran as if I were afraid.
I was thinking of David and Joseph,
As I chose to get out of his reach.

But his victory will be short lived.

Whoever doesn’t believe

will be dumbfounded.

I won’t waste another moment
Thinking of all he did,

he caused me to suffer.

But he knows his time is limited.

Soon he'll be forgotten.
And  my grief will also be,
Then you’ll hear my song of victory,

and that alone will be remembered.
