Stand up to Abuse

 

Recognize the face of abuse,

It's a worldwide phenomenon.

It’s your neighbor, coworker, sister,

daughter, Mother, friend.

 

It’s not only physical; it's verbal, sexual and mental.

Anyone who’s being used as a source of income,

imprisoned, and mistreated by someone.

 

Don't hide your face or remain a phantom.

Stand up to abuse, and let it be known.

 

If it would bring harm to you,

 recognize it, but expose the harm

That’s been inflicted on you..

 

Doesn't matter who it is, was,

did, does or wants to become.

Your life is worth saving.

 

Stand up to Abuse.

You are not alone.
 

Difficulty shapes us but should not defeat us.
This is the message of "The cry of our children."
