This is Love!
Love chooses to act or hold back.
Regardless of who or what a person is.
Is forthright, honest and operates out of affection.
Not driven by sexual attraction or craving.
It does not parade in front of its beloved.
Or abandoned her for another or anything.
It patiently waits for its desired lover.
And when the time comes, welcomes her.
Not send her away, into the arms of another.
Genuine love is boundless caring.
Reaches out and is fulfilling not disappointing.
It persists, prevailing even while others
With selfish motives consistently always fail.
Never display compassion or care for
Its own benefit or gain, but for the one it desires.
This is the measure, I used to determine love.
