Who set the Standard?

Who set the standard of, right and wrong?
Am I not fully cognizance of error?
Is it not man’s doings that will save?
Or eventually cause his destruction?
His choosing, disbeliefs, acceptance
Denial of God’s servant that will
Eventually determine everyone’s fate?

Oh Master, look how much, I have done,
I was a virtuous man. Perhaps so!
Did you hear my servant's cries?
Was that not the one you disregarded?
Did you stand by and watched uncaringly,
As she withered and died because you refused,
Choose for her just to die? Why did you?
Was it your pride, ignorance or indifference?
