To Be or Never was!

I do recollect this.
What I do not recall is.
What I remember about it.
Flashes of memories.
Of Sarah, my mother.
The woman the bible
Records as my mother.

The comfort of holding
My sleeping son close.
To my body, his father
Reassurance I am yet to
Know or may never feel.
For he is yet to hold me.

My emotions as I tussle.
The seen and unseen.
Promises I could do without.
I have no doubt, my home
Will never on an Island be.
Yet water soothes and calms me.
For as it is written, I will reside.
For a time, times and a half time
In the desert. How awful ironic!
